My general artistic development is supported by Heart N Soul , who believe in the power and talents of people with learning disabilities and autism.Heart N Soul gave me the advice that I should have a residency in a venue ,to bring together all the different creative work I do.
I called this night “Robyn’s Rocket” .The 2 main themes of Robyn’s Rocket are

1 improvisation

(This may seem like a side side step but bear with me,

I actually can’t read and write well, this causes me huge problems in my everyday life, I also miss bits of information in communication . I strongly identify with the learning disability community , at the moment los of people with learning disability/autistic people just like me don’t get to play mainstream gig venues , if there is transport access it’s often vague or too wordy and doesn’t cater for people who can’t read,
many Autistic people find gig going a bit unpredictable and info vague like if there will be a break, when music actually starts vs door times etc, so I wanted to be accessible to my friends and fellow artists from heart N Soul so they could come.

2. inclusiveness for people with and with learning disabilities and autistic and non autistic people

.In February 2018 the venue I had been using in deptford changed hands, but I was invited to put Robyn’s Rocket on at cafe OTO ( a music venue which was established in 2008 and puts on experimental music 7 nights a week). Cafe Oto were veery keen to be more inclusive for performers and musicians alike and really liked Robyn’s Rocket. I applied for some funding so that I could focus on being a musician but run Robyn’s Rocket Help musicians UK and The performing rights society foundation ({RSF) gave me some funding , this is to give musicians a guaranteed fee, work with Rucksack cinema and visual artist with learning disabilities, get more robust stage props, put in place tools for accessibility .
